Lorenzo's shoot

Hey folks It’s seriously been a long time since I’ve updated. The holidays contrary to popular belief have been MORE busy than not. I’ve been very lucky and have had lots of pretty profound experiences happen to me and I have to say it’s affected my photography substantially. I’ll let you be the judge. Check out these images I shot of Lorenzo. He’s an amazing jazz musician I have to say it’s been a privilege experiencing his music and being able to photograph him.

Brittany and Paul's Wedding

I had the privilege of photographing Brittany and Paul’s exciting wedding at the Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood. They had a really unique ceremony at night, which made the whole affair feel very intimate. Below are some of my favorites!

Wildfires

It’s that time of year where california decides to redecorate itself. My thoughts and prayers to everyone who is being affected by the fires in SB and Brea. I was shooting over in Rancho and grabbed a quick shot at sunset. It was a really surprising  how quickly the fire would flare up. Please be safe.

Calico Ghost Town Romp

This past Tuesday I rode into a good ol’ fashioned ghost town just north of Barstow. Why you ask? Joe Photo an amazing photographer (and really awesome person too) started a club on the [b] school called Day Trippin’ With the purpose of spending a bit of time shooting for the soul.

It’s kind of a funny thing, when you shoot professionally it’s easy to forget that sometimes it’s good to spend some quality time w/ your good ol’ buddy (the camera). I had a real blast and spent the day just exploring with about 12 other photographers.

Here are my favorites of the day.

The Finals

It’s a bit of a rainy day here in LA (yes it does actually rain). I’m originally from Miami and rain is something I really miss since I moved to LA. To make sure I enjoyed it while being productive, I spent the day inside with my window open just litening to the rain and imaging a few shots. I just finished Estelle’s test shoot images, here they are for you to enjoy!

Test shoot w/ Sara

I met the lovely budding makeup artist Alison Burnett this past Sunday. She brought her amazing beautiful friend Sara with her and we had fun and took a few shots. In the winter season when weddings slow down it’s always fun to keep shooting, trying new things and improving your craft. Check out the shots below!

Fashion Fashion!

Wedding dresses come in so many different styles it’s amazing! I met Alina Pizzano earlier this year in Palm Springs at a wedding show and was very impressed with her design sense. We got to talking and it turns out we had a lot in common as well.  She and I are both cuban and her studio just over a mile away from my home! Needless to say we setup a small shoot for a few of her choice dresses and they should be gracing her website soon! Here is one of my favorite dresses.

Test Shoot at Arroyo Park

I had a great time Shooting Pilar on Sunday over at the Lower Arroyo Seco Park. It’s a really amazing place that has so much to offer, amazing views, archery targets and even a fly fishing pond. Here is a quick favorite I’m still working on a few!

Sonny's photoshoot.

Hey all, I just had a little photographic excursion w/ Sonny. He was looking for some portraits and commercial type shots for his ZED card so we did a bit of running around Pasadena and grabbed a few cool shots.

Palm Springs

I love the windmills off the I-10. I came across this shot and thought I’d share.
